My intention was to run two laps around the reservoir for a 3.2 mile run, but my son and husband had come out to the park at the same time to play in the snow, so when I circled my first lap around the reservoir and saw them digging in the snow, I lost all motivation to finish the run. I promptly turned around at the next exit off the reservoir path and headed for playtime...what? I still ran 2.1 miles.
